FAQ Bike Attack 

Shipping & Delivery

Bike Attack will ship small parts via USPS, Fedex, or UPS, insured, adult signature required. However complete bikes can only be shipped via UPS and Fedex Ground, insured and adult signature required. Bike Attack reserves up to five days handling time. Note that all bikes sold online come in a box and are unsassembled. We recommend assembly by a professional bike shop.

For products that are in stock, we ship within 3-5 days from the time you place your order. The following exceptions will require extended shipment and or delivery times:
-Products that are normally stocked but are temporarily out of stock.
-Products that are not normally stocked and must be special ordered.
-Products requiring special attention in adherence to legal and or delivery service guidelines

Under such circumstances, you will be emailed regarding the specifics of your order.
On occasion we may experience a further delay in the shipment of your order. In such a case, you will be notified via email or phone.

International shipping

International Shipping & Handling Rates: For the fastest and most economical service, we use UPS Air Freight Consolidated (3-8 days to most countries before clearing customs). Additionally, Bike Attack may be required to charge an additional surcharge to ship to certain countries. We will notify you of any extra shipping charges. If you have any questions regarding shipping to your country, just send us an e-mail at info@bikeattack.com.

International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees, including customs brokerage. 

To minimize the risk of credit card fraud all international customers are asked to submit a copy of ID and matching credit card.

Privacy & Security

We're cyclists and we don't want any of your information, unless we need to look up a serial number or sale amount for your insurance company. If you do choose to give us your email address we promise that after we have your permission to never sell or release that email address. We will send you some updates about what’s new and cool or local Santa Monica bike events, but it will be very rarely and usually on cloudy days, which we don’t have many of.

Returns & Replacements & Warranty
A bicycle may be exchanged for original purchase amount credit within 7 days of purchase for a model of the same value or higher IF the bicycle is un-ridden and in showroom condition as determined by the store manager, UNLESS the bicycle was special ordered, the bicycle was on layaway, it was shipped, it was a closeout deal such as (but not limited to) a prior year model.
All bicycle online sales, phone orders and special orders are final sales, unless there was a problem with the order caused by us. 
All regularly priced accessories may be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if unopened in its original packaging and accompanied by the original receipt. Refunds will not be given if those conditions are not met. Sale and clearance items are not returnable. Returns purchased on credit cards will only be credited to the same credit card. Additionally shoes may not have had cleats mounted nor show scuff marks, helmets may not have been worn, shorts, jerseys, socks and gloves may not have been worn.
Parts never installed and in their original packaging may be returned for a full refund within 7 days of purchase with the original receipt unless they were special ordered, sale items or on layaway. Parts already installed on a bicycle are not returnable for a refund.
Labor charges are not refundable, unless there is a problem with a repair or part installation performed by our shop. Please don't hesitate to contact us, we will correct it immediately.
Bicycle warranty policy
BIKE ATTACK will honor all manufacturer’s warranties on frames and forks, which can vary from one year to the lifetime of the original purchaser, against manufacturer’s defects. These warranties don’t apply to normal wear and tear, abuse, racing and accidents. 
All bikes sold online ship unassembled and need to be assembled and fine tuned by a professional bike shop.

Bike Attack accepts online orders for certain bike brands now. Simply go to www.bikeattack.com and order online. if the product is unavailable for online purchase please call us at 310-581-8014 and order your bike over the phone.

If you're ordering online or over the phone and we're shipping the product to a different address than the one on file with the card, please be prepared to be asked to submit a copy of your ID and matching credit card. This is a security measure to avoid fraudulent use of credit cards and for your own protection.

In order to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, the billing address is verified through your credit card company. If the billing address differs from the billing address on your bank's records, you could be declined. You should contact your credit card company to check the address they have on file for AVS (Address Verification System) purposes.

If your transaction was declined due to AVS Mismatch (Billing address provided does not match Billing address of cardholder), please do not attempt to resubmit your request, as it will send multiple authorization requests to your banking institution and place holds on your funds. Please contact your banking institution to verify that the Master Billing address they have on file is the same as you entered when you registered.

My order was declined. Will I be charged for this order?

You may see pending charges on your account even though the order was declined. When an order is placed on our website, the transaction is sent to the bank for verification of the billing address entered, and for availability of funds. The bank holds the funds for that transaction, even if the order is then declined for other reasons. The hold will drop off automatically in 1 to 3 business days, since the transaction was not completed. Some banks, such as credit unions, may take longer or have additional restrictions on transactions.

Payments & Pricing
Bike Attack accepts all major credit cards for in store purchases (Amex, Visa, Master, Discover) and Visa and Master credit cards for online purchases. Sometimes bike prices change because of things beyond our control. We apologize in advance for any price increase that was not updated to the website. We always strive to eliminate errors and try hard to minimize them.
