Shipping & Delivery

“SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS APPLY” What does this mean?

If an item is marked with a “Shipping Restrictions Apply” option, you can still purchase the item online. This just means the manufacturer/brand has place shipping restrictions on the item. 

After you have made your purchase online, we encourage you to send us an email at Sales@BikeAttack.com or call us at (310) 581-8014 to make arrangements on how to obtain your purchase. If you do not or cannot contact us, leave your details when you check out and we will reach out to you.

 

 

Once I’ve paid for my purchase, how long will it take for my item(s) to ship?

If the item(s) are in stock, shipping will take place 3-5 business days from the time your order goes through.

 

 

Are there any exceptions to the 3-5 business days shipping and handling time?

The following exceptions will require extended shipment/handling and/or delivery times:

-Products that are temporarily out of stock.
-Products that must be special ordered.
-Products requiring special attention in adherence to legal and/or delivery service guidelines.

Under such circumstances, you will be emailed regarding the specifics of your order. We will notify you of any further delay in the shipment of your order.

 

 

Which carrier(s) handles the shipping?

Small parts, accessories, and miscellaneous are shipped via USPS, Fedex, or UPS, insured, adult signature required. Bike Attack reserves up to 5 business days handling time. We will be in contact with you if there is reason for any further delay.

 

 

How are the bikes shipped?

Complete bikes can only be shipped via UPS and Fedex Ground, insured and adult signature required. Bike Attack reserves up to five business days handling time. 

All bikes sold online come unassembled in a box unless otherwise noted. 

Bikes and ebikes need to be assembled by a professional bike shop for the warranty to go in effect.  

 


What if I’m purchasing from outside the United States?

International customers are responsible for all duties, taxes, and customs fees, including customs brokerage. 

To minimize the risk of credit card fraud all international customers are asked to submit a copy of ID and matching credit card.

 

 

How is International Shipping handled?

International Shipping & Handling Rates: For the fastest and most economical service, we use UPS Air Freight Consolidated (3-8 business days to most countries before clearing customs).

Additionally, Bike Attack may be required to charge an additional surcharge to ship to certain countries. We will notify you of any extra shipping charges. If you have any questions regarding our international shipping policies, send us an e-mail: info@BikeAttack.com.

We value privacy and security just as much as you. We promise not to sell your information to any third party.

This site is secured by GeoTrust. 
Sites secured by GeoTrust SSL certificates offer the highest level of encryption and security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications between your browser and this site's web servers are private and secure.

 

 

What security measures do you take?

Online and Phone orders: If the shipping address is different from the billing address, we may ask for a copy of your ID and matching credit card. This is a security measure to protect you from fraudulent use of your credit cards.

In order to protect our customers from fraudulent transactions, the billing address is verified through your credit card company. If the billing address differs from the billing address on your bank's records, the transaction could be declined. If this happens, you should contact your credit card company to check the address they have on file for AVS (Address Verification System) purposes.

If your transaction was declined due to AVS Mismatch (Billing address provided does not match billing address of cardholder), do not attempt to resubmit your request, as it will send multiple authorization requests to your banking institution and place holds on your funds. Please contact your banking institution to verify that the Master Billing address they have on file is the same as you entered when you registered.

 

 

 

Returns & Replacements & Warranty

Bicycle Return/Exchanges Policy

A bicycle may be exchanged within 7 days of the purchase date for a model of the same value or higher than the original purchase amount under these conditions:

-The bicycle was purchased in store.

-The bicycle is un-ridden and in showroom condition as determined by the store manager.

-The bicycle is returned with original receipt.

No exchanges will be made if the bicycle was special ordered, if the bicycle was on layaway, if the bicycle was shipped, or was purchased as a closeout deal such as (but not limited to) a prior year model. 

We strive to have the most up to date specifications and eliminate errors on our website and keep it up to date at all times. Manufacturers reserve the right to change specifications of their products at any time and the specifications on our inventory might change without prior notice. Bike Attack apologizes in advance for any confusion, and is not responsible for these differences/errors.

Accessories Return/Exchange Policy

-All regularly priced accessories may be returned for a full refund by within 7 days of purchase if unopened, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

-Sale and clearance items are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

-Shoes, clothing, helmets and all other wearable(s) and/or accessories can be returned within the given time period if unworn, unwashed and has the original product and price tags still attached. Shoes cannot have had cleats mounted or show signs of wear to be eligible for return. 

Refunds will be given via store credit, or original payment method used, based on management discretion. Returns purchased on credit cards will only be credited back to the same credit card. Refunds will not be given if the above conditions are not met.

 

 

Parts Return/Exchange Policy

Parts in its original packaging and condition, as well as accompanied with its original purchase receipt are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of original purchase dated on receipt.

Special ordered parts and items, sale items, layaway items, and parts/accessories that were installed are not eligible for refund.

 

 

Labor

Labor charges are non-refundable.

If there was a problem with a repair or part installation, please don't hesitate to contact us, we will work towards finding a resolution.

 

 

Bicycle Warranty Policy

Bike Attack will honor all manufacturer warranties on frames and forks if handled in compliance with manufacturer warranty rules and instructions. Depending on the manufacturer, brand, or company, the warranty will vary. Please refer to warranty literature for your specific purchase. These warranties do not apply to normal wear and tear, abuse, racing and/or accidents. 

All bikes sold online are shipped unassembled and need to be assembled and fine tuned by a professional bike shop. Make an appointment with a Bike Attack specialist and we'll provide the utmost in care and service!

 

 

Declined Orders

My order was declined. Will I be charged for this order?

If your order was declined, you may still see pending charges on your account. This is all dependent on your bank and/or credit card company’s rules and regulations.

When an order is placed, the transaction is sent to the bank for billing address verification and for availability of funds. The bank may hold the funds for that transaction, even if the order is the declined. The hold most likely will drop off automatically in 1 to 3 business days, since the transaction was not completed.

Some banks, such as credit unions, may take longer or have additional restrictions on transactions. Bike Attack has no control over these actions- please contact your bank or credit card provider regarding any of these issues.

 

 

Payments & Pricing

Bike Attack accepts all major credit cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover) for in store purchases. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted for online purchases.

Prices are subject to change. This is beyond our control and we apologize in advance for any price change that was not updated to the website. We always strive to eliminate errors and try hard to minimize them.
