Where to ride your bike around Playa Vista, Culver City, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey and Playa Del Rey?
Bike Attack recommends the following road cycling routes in the area. We do a weekly ride from our shop in Playa Vista: every Saturday morning and everybody is invited to join us.
We meet at the shop at RUNWAY mall every Saturday at 8am and ride together for 2-3 hours. Here are our recommendations:
Palos Verdes Donut Loop:
- Yellow Vase (https://www.yellowvase.com/)
Nice coffee shop/bakery, place to stop before hitting the climbs in Palos Verdes. Popular stop for many cyclists riding the Donut Loop
- Terranea Resort (https://www.terranea.com/)
Beautiful resort/spa resort after about 900ft of climbing. Small coffee chop with lunch menu. About 4-5 from the start of the "switchbacks" and toughest part of the loop.
- The Rock Store (http://rock-store.com/)
More of a biker hangout but good rest stop once at the top of Mulholland
- The Malibu Cafe @ Calamigos Ranch (http://www.themalibucafe.com/
Great pit stop for some food and drink, pricey but worth a stop.
Join us every Saturday at 8am at Runway Mall in Playa Vista, adjacent to Whole Foods (we validate parking for 2 hours):
12775 W Millennium, Playa Vista, CA 90094
