Surly: Disc Trucker Frameset - 2019

Touring Bikes

There are very few things in this cold, dark world that truly compare to loading your bike with only the bare essentials - or luxurious comforts - and hitting the road or dirt for a while. Surly's robust line of touring bikes has a range of escape vehicles in both the on-road and off-road flavors. Each one is ready and willing to take a break from the real world for a predetermined period of time, be it overnight or for the rest of your life. As is the case with everything they do, Surly's touring bikes are designed with versatility on the brain. As such, these bikes are chock full of smart features you won't find anywhere else. Get loaded and GTFO!

The Disc Trucker is a pure-bred drop bar touring bike from Surly and is suitable for traveling anywhere on mostly paved surfaces.

It’s one of the best riding and most value-packed touring bikes around. This bike was specifically designed for the unique forces discs impose; Surly made sure it can run discs, racks, and fenders with no jury rigging.

  • Every braze-on you’ll ever need: front and rear rack mounts, fender eyelets, water bottle bosses, spare spoke holder, pump peg

  • Available in 26” (sizes 42–58 cm) and 700c (sizes 56–64cm) wheel diameters

  • Disc brake compatibility (if rim brakes are more your thing, check out the Long Haul Trucker)

  • Clearance for 26” x 2.1” tires with or without fenders (26” platform) or 700c x 42mm with fenders, 45mm without fenders (700c platform)
