2016 Rio Olympics Cycling

2016 Rio Olympics Cycling

Posted by Kitty on

The 2016 Rio Olympics Cycling events have been amazing so far, with two world records broken BOTH in the Track Cycling Team Pursuit events, Great Britain's Mens AND Great Britain's Women's teams shattered the world records for Team Pursuit and took the Gold home. Quite exciting and not quite over, with two events yet to take place as of this post.

Great Britain has completely dominated the Olympics cycling events, medaling in EVERY event, totaling 12 medals so far, and the USA trailing with a total medal count of 5. Cycling has been a very hot event since the Olympics have taken place so closely on the heels of Tour de France just last month.
